Chantal Desjardins (born June 28, 1981, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is a Canadian radio and television personality who currently works for Rogers Media. ==Biography== Desjardins graduated with a Communications degree from the University of Winnipeg and a Creative Communications diploma from Red River College. Desjardins began her career as a copywriter, then later a sports anchor and reporter for Citytv Winnipeg (CHMI-TV). After moving to Montreal in 2006, Desjardins worked as a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor for CJAD radio in Montreal, then as a traffic reporter for Astral Media. From January to December 2009, Chantal co-hosted ''The Rush'' with Mark and Chantal, on Virgin Radio 96 (CJFM-FM) from 4:00 to 7:00 weekday afternoons, with Mark Bergman. This was Virgin Radio's inaugural drive home show after its format change from MIX 96. The following year, PJ Stock left. By September 2011, Rob Kemp replaced Pete Marier, and the morning show returned to their closing time @ 10am. As of January 9, 2012, Desjardins left CHOM for CJAD's ''The Aaron Rand Show'' with Aaron Rand where she had been a sports reporter. Desjardins has also filled in regularly as a sports anchor and sports and entertainment reporter on the CTV Montreal news. She also hosts various community events.
